Our Men’s ministry helps with many events during the year. Last year we held the Chili Cook Off; and prepared the Sunrise Service breakfast. We helped with the Apple festival, God’s Family table and the congregational picnic.
7th Annual Chili-Cook-Off
The Annual Chili-Cook-off will be held on Saturday, March 30th at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. This competition is open to all. Even group's like the Men's Ministry, Golden Agers, Youth, Circles, etc. or if you want to submit a chili as an individual you are encouraged to do so. The entry fee is $10.00 for each chili entered. The cost to attend is $10.00 per person or $20.00 per family. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place recipes and of course the coveted People's Choice Award will be awarded. This year we will also hold a dessert competition so pull out your best recipes and get baking. A first and second prize will be awarded to the cook who makes the best dessert! Proceeds go to the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund.
